This POS wants to start some investigation into how corona was handled....REALLY??? Anybody fooled by this? How long do we sit and watch this treason and just let it go??? Seriously, my blood is boiling. Congress needs to get this shite under control!!!

I don't have a problem with eventually investigating it and we should probably do so just to get some lessons learned

Damn, the partisan response to this proposal is entirely predictable, but sad nonetheless. Simply because Schiff is involved, the response here is positively Pavlovian,
The proposed investigation posits an “independent” review. Given the partisan split between House and Senate (which will continue next Session) and partisan control of the Executive, it is reasonable to assume that the resulting enabling legislation will be as bipartisan as anything CAN be in today’s climate.
Whether we are talking Trump, CDC, state governments or otherwise, this mess has produced some good responses and some bad ones from EVRY quarter. Almost EVERYONE has done some things competently and has made SOME missteps.
An INDEPENDENT post-mortem review and analysis of those responses is a VERY GOOD idea, and might actual increase our preparedness for the next, similar challenge.
There is ZERO reasoned basis to oppose such a review. IDGAF if the enabling legislation is drafted by Schiff or by Rand Paul.
