Let’s start with this relatively uncontroversial premise I assume we all can agree upon: Boelter has a narcissistic and antisocial personality disorder that ultimately manifested itself in these violent acts. Yet rather than doing these murders from a sense of grandiosity or a need for infamy, perhaps these politicians were 1.) either targeted for revenge or 2.) targeted by a professional hitman.

The chilling nature and cold precision in which Boelter targeted these victims certainly suggest that Boelter wasn’t a novice killer but was instead experienced in inflicting violent mayhem. That Boelter not only survived a shootout with police but actually escaped also dispels the notion that Boelter was not some hapless grifter who didn’t have the sense to pour piss out of boot before putting it own.

Boelter’s background certainly suggests that he was an intelligence asset of some degree. I think it certainly is not outside the realm of possibility that what we witnessed in this horrendous act was the calculated acts of a professional killer experienced in the ways of murder.
