According Gallup poll, Russia wasn't a concern for voters

Granted, the latest poll was pre Helsinki summit so we'll see if all the hoopla pays off for the Democrats when the next poll hits, but given the overall lack of concern all year I'd be surprised if the needle moves much.

Maybe American voters care more about their safety and economic well-being instead of looney conspiracy theories.

Good to see some hard data here. Anecdotally, I can’t point to a single person left or right who regularly brings up anything to do with Russia as a primary talking point when discussing their like/dislike for Trump or his policies.
ETA: I would like to see a greater weighting towards Economic issues though. A robust economy solves a lot of your non-economic issues.

Anecdotally, one of my best friends is completely unhinged by Trump. I would never call him an SJW, but he's gone all in on the Russia angle. It's funny somedays, but he would definitely be in that 1%.
In regards to economic issues, I'd like to see it be a budget concern as well, but you can see it become less of a concern as the polling continues over the year. It's easy to worry less about something when it's obviously improving. There's a nice falloff in concerns about government as well in non econ category, which is nice to see.

Damn, appears people are really trusting in Trump.

I called this before the summit when the tone changed. They saw that people either didn't care or responded well to Trump trashing Germany, so they had to change the messaging around the Putin summit from "He has to do x, y, and z" to "He shouldn't even go" to, now, "The worst foreign policy decision in US history." They can't get traction with any of it.

Non factor for this voter.
WE have a bigger threat from domestic terrorists like ANTIFA/BLM than Russians.
