Abrams burning Georgia State Flag

Story broke today. Abrams is profiled and pictured in an AJC story back in 1992, burning the Georgia State Flag on the steps of the Georgia capital building.
Their first debate is tomorrow, good timing, the Kemp people have probably had this ready to go for awhile.

There is a group in Afghanistan that did this exact same thing to some Buddhist mountain carvings. I think the name of the group is the "Taliban," or something like that. Has anybody here ever hear of these people?
