Well buddy I guess we just disagree. Abortion on demand is not something I favor but I would never force my wife or daughters to carry or make them feel guilty for terminating a pregnancy that was the result of a rape.
I agree that we'll just have to disagree as I would vote every day of the week to save the lives of the unborn against their slaughter for convenience or therapy.

It's been tried before. It didn't end well.

As are all criminals. Can we please start killing them too?

OK, I'm going to inject some Singer here. He calls it 'net happiness.'

Studies have shown that healthy siblings say they felt neglected by their parents with a downs child.
Parents of downs kids said that they cancelled plans of having future children due to the burden of raising the downs child.
Therefore, the happiness of the prior children and the happiness of the non existent future children are diminished by whatever happiness the downs child experiences. It's a net loss for everyone.

Singer's "net happiness" decision making would apply after they were born too. Hell, give it a go with the kid for a year and if it's too hard and the "net happiness" is negative, go ahead and off it so everyone else can be a little happier.

I was just reading about Mark Anthony Conditt and he sounds like he shares your values on abortion:

Scroll down halfway to read more about your conservative brethren.

You’re horrible. To the person with Downs, they have a normal life.

I agree with his comments on abortion. So what? He's still wrong about wanting to kill innocent peoples and his actions are a direct contradiction to his supposed opinions on abortion.

If you want to say that my opinion on abortion is wrong because of a killer who agreed with me on the topic, perhaps I should research all of the opinions and preferences of all evil people throughout all time to make sure none of my own opinions and preferences align with theirs, and so should you.

Or... I can simply state that you're committing a logical fallacy (non sequitur) and leave it at that.
