It doesn’t matter what they discussed (unless p4p or illegal activities can actually be proven). A private meeting with the husband of the person your department is investigating is a severe conflict of interest.

This IG report is not going to be what a lot of y'all are expecting. Comey publicly revisited a closed investigation into a presidential candidate 11 days before the election and yet didn't say shite publicly about the fact that the other candidate had been under investigation for several months for possibly colluding with a foreign government. Comey, when it comes to Hillary and her emails, is someone the right should want to be wholly exonerated of any wrongdoing or questionable decisions.

No one, regardless of political leanings, should want Comey exonerated. He has destroyed the reputation of the FBI.

I think he was between a rock and a hard place. I think he made the wrong decision but I can see where he was coming from and appreciate the predicament he faced.
I'm not saying I don't think the IG should call him out for his actions but I don't think he should face any true punishment for what he did. He likely cost my candidate the election by releasing that letter (polling back this theory), but that doesn't mean I think he belongs in jail because I don't believe it was politically motivated.
