Spencer Pratt talks about this just about everyday. This whole situation was bungled from Bass all the way to Gavin.

14 months after hurricane Harvey totally destroyed our house in south texas we moved into our new 650 thousand dollar house on the same site that met all windstorm/flood/fire construction criteria. Keep the regulatory criteria meaningful/straight forward and get out of the way.

Newsom constantly bitching the federal $$ isn't coming in, but ignoring that it is because he and Bass haven't done their jobs in taking the necessary steps.
