How bitter someone's life must be to down vote the passing of someone that embodied the courage of our nation. Sad.

May he rest in peace! They don't make them like that anymore.

Unreal. I can’t fathom someone being so vile.

Imagine how badass those men had to be to be the first ones launched into space. A true unknown.
RIP

Could have been someone fat-fingering it.
RIP. That first generation of astronauts were the great explorers of our time.

Looking back on it, those guys were something else. They counted on a computer that was less powerful than even the cheapest smart phone made today to get them to the moon and back.
Also, am I the only one who was disappointed when they opened the thread and it wasn't about John McCain?

You know the poliboard was never really good, but we used to be able to not screw up memorial threads.
Just a thought.

RIP
and I doubt fat fingering happened. You can go start an obit/prayer thread on the OT and get DVed. Some people are so bored they do this just so we talk about them now. Pathetic...

If NASA still did cool shite I’d be all about raising funding for them. But it’s run by lame arse nerds now.
