One or more of a combination of the following:

1) Opinion diversity shrinks as logical people move out of the urban hubs; and/or

2) TDS, like the corona virus, is easily spread in densely populated areas where divergent opinions are ridiculed, and even face corporal punished for dissent; and/or

3) General decline in "family values" is more prevalent in these areas due to the above, leading to the likelihood of exacerbation of the symptoms and increasing the chance of infection & further complications.
