I'd say we're an oligarchical republic masquerading as a constitutional one at this point.

Money=speech, the end of our republic.

Nope.

Constitutions are simply frameworks for governments. You are referencing more of our amendments which create the limitations on the government.

Our government, at its inception and even now (though less so) encompasses so much more that just a representative body. The only “representative democracy” in our government in 1787 was the House of Representatives.
