Thank you for your post. This is all I ask for. The important thing is what is in our hearts. I love all my Christian brothers and sisters and hope they have a great relationship with our Lord. I know I do and love that I get to particulate fully in the Sacraments Jesus gave us, which is why I will promote the Catholic Church.

I am not being disrespectful to the Catholic Church. The OP said that all Christians believe the Nicene Creed. And then it cited the modified version with the Filioque. Then I explained that Orthodox don’t believe the Filioque and why we don’t believe the Filioque.

I do fully agree with you on the wording being different, there are over a dozen versions in English alone that I have seen.

As I mentioned, I took the Catholic one specifically because I was not a Catholic and I wanted to keep any personal preference for wording out of it.
There are very valid debates on what wording is more clear to overall Christianity.
But they really all do get to the core of the matter.
And disagreement over best wording does not impact a disagreement over belief.

If the Father and the Son possess the same traits
You continue to either make assumptions or are just miseducated on Catholic belief. The creed as you quote does not propose sameness of traits (your words).
The Catholic belief in the trinity is that God is one and a union of love. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father and their love is the Holy Spirit. One God in three personhoods. God cannot be love and fully and completely God if all that He is not full in and of himself. Therefore He is a three person union of love and being itself in zero need of anything outside of Himself. The gift of being to His creation is an act of love.
