Getting put in a nasty arse jail for not wearing a mask is worse than the virus.
Add to that, this nasty arse jail has room for this lady because they let people who did real crimes out of jail early is worse than the virus too.

Ehh, while this is an example of abuse of authority/power. There aren't viral videos of the cops doing the right thing by not enforcing the draconian sanctions. I'd bet there are hundreds of thousands of cops who encounter someone who is not abiding by these measures and don't take action (the correct action) but that isn't video worthy and thus not documented. A few videos doesn't prove your point either way.

It may be only slightly better than the scum that collects along the curbs of Bourbon Street, which I believe could have been harnessed to defeat the virus forever. Ironically, but shutting down NOLA, that powerful cure was sidelined.
