Can you explain why the governors race had a couple hundred thousand more votes than every other race in Arizona on the same day?

Here were the total votes cast for the state-wide contested races in 2022:

U.S. Senate-2,572,294
Governor-2,559,485
Secretary Of State-2,521,030
Attorney General-2,509,133
Superintendent of Public Instruction-2,503,200
State Treasurer-2,497,172

They were all within 75K votes of each other. Not a couple hundred thousand votes.

For comparison, here was the total votes cast for the same state-wide contested races in 2018:

U.S. Senate-2,384,266
Governor-2,376,441
Secretary Of State-2,332,685
Attorney General-2,322,470
State Treasurer-2,301,317
Superintendent of Public Instruction-2,299,327

They were all within 85K votes of each other. Pretty identical margin to 2022.

Cheating will tend to have that effect.
