Well over twice the required number.

I'm feeling confident we'll pass it. Had medical since 2017.

Serious question. What are the total population numbers for the state of AR?

1.5 million registered voters. Typically turnout is 500k-700k. I would have signed it but never saw a petition.

The math works out that we'll pass it unless it the AG dicks us around.

That's cool. Yall would be the first state in the south fully legalized, right? Although it basically is with delta 8.

Probably, unless another state has it on the ballot at the same time.

I think we were first with medical. We passed it in the 2016 election. We barely failed in 2012.

Why do you need it passed? Weed is everywhere now....and no police to enforce it....so have at it!

Nothing wrong with it, when used properly.

I was for it and then went to a state/city where it was legal and recreational.

You cant escape the smell, go anywhere, even kids entertainment areas, zoos, aquariums, etc, literally everything smells like shitty weed, it permeates air and clothes as much as cigs.

I guess its better than smelling like piss but I dont enjoy being subjected to it.

Some Southern state needs to take the plunge. Virginia doesn't count.

1/3 of the state population lives in counties adjacent to Oklahoma and their medical is essentially recreational in practice.

It's already everywhere here between OK and medical cards which are easy to get.

I'd just like to go get it without the workarounds.

It's nice not having to worry about drug tests. In Oregon, even if an employer drug tests, hardly any of them test for THC.

Where was this? I really find this hard to believe. I've been living in a legal state for 5 years and have caught a 1 or 2 second whiff outdoors maybe 15-20 times...including concerts(Khruangbin last night) and other outdoor events with plenty of people.

The tailgate at war memorial in Little Rock this past year smelled like weed everywhere.

And most Ubers I take in Fayetteville smell like it already.

Why are people obsessed with getting high?

We have medical marijuana in Missouri. Every single apartment building inside of 270 smells like weed.

It would be as embarrassing if every building smelled like spilled liquor.

It’s anesthesia for a purposeless life.

I'm not obsessed with getting high.

But i like some gummies for pain relief and relaxation maybe once a week or less. As an American I shouldn't be penalized for partaking of a plant that grows naturally here.

It's civilized.

I can name a few places as others have already done.

But when i wrote that post I was specifically thinking of orchard beach in Maine, then later again in Portland. Granted it was vacation (and thus probably 10x the tokers than usual) but me and my wife were disgusted all the same.
