As long as there is no real punishment, the fake hate crimes will continue. All of these people that actively committed hoaxes should be expelled from school. They should spend a few days in jail, pay a decent fine, & be required to pay back the cost of the police to investigate. The ones that didn't commit a hoax but just misrepresented a normal incident should be ridiculed until they leave school on their own.
