This is actually true. In context he meant that the inflation numbers were good because as soon as the war is over it is coming down.

Because they have no substance. No facts. Nothing to bring to the table or back up their pathetic arguments so as a result they have to try to spin and poke holes into Trumps comments to make him look negative but still not doing anything positive on their own mind you.
