On Jan. 11, ICE officers arrested Chinese criminal illegal alien Ling Yan, also known as Yang Ning. He was convicted of two counts of endangering the welfare of children in Ravenna County, Ohio, and has a final order of removal.
This piece of crap was nabbed in a West Virginia ICE raid this month
My question: why the hell was he walking the streets? I get how sanctuary liberal cities will arrest someone and then let them walk free while awaiting trial/sentencing, but this guy was convicted in a red state. Why wasnt he handed over to ICE the second after he was convicted? Even putting aside the immigration aspect, why was he not in prison?

Even *CALIFORNIA* works with immigration enforcement for convicted individuals.
Is there an innocent explanation for this? Is this really how the system works? Ohio informs immigration ofificials but only after they let the person out?
This forced ice to waste resources getting him in WV

Well, we do have a republican governor. Mike DeWine. Husted is probably involved along with Dave Yost.
Ohio republicans are the cesspool. Maybe Jimmy Jordan will write a strongly worded letter.
