It is clearly trademarked. Why do we have that rule for some, but not all, logos?

It's not. The only college to ever say anything about the logo being copyrighted was LSU. That's why we have a generic one Casty and I made a few years back. The others don't have logos because it takes too much time to put them all in.

Oh, man, that is so wrong, Little Aristotle, so wrong. I feel for you. Do people not realize that Minnesota is the last CFB team with a legitimate three-pete in national titles (not including Bama getting robbed in 1966)? Five national titles since 1934 and no logo? WTF? Seriously.
