Most of you know that I am objective as they come on here. Definitely in relation to movies and treatments people apply to them.
The whole background behind the interview is very different than a review.
So, I, Pectus, Mr. Objectivity, can assuredly tell you that it is morally OK if you torrent the new comedy, The Interview.
Here's why:
1) You dislike how Sony dealt with the whole threat situation. What better way to show that than see the film, but for free.
2) You are not scared of any terrorists or terrorist threats, then what better way to get a copy of the movie than off their back porch (metaphorically speaking).
That is why it is OK to torrent The Interview!

I paid the $15 for it and downloaded the torrent. I wanted Rogen and Goldberg to get their cut.

I torrented it because I only pay for good movies
The Interview was a steaming pile of shite but the rednecks on this board will come hype it up because they honestly think it'd be unpatriotic to not like it

little harsh, but yeah

If you don't torrent then the terrorists win. Nothing is more American than taking something you want. Just call it manifest destiny. That, or trading cheap beads and trinkets for it.

I've never understood how people justify stealing.
People who torrent have no concept of intellectual property because nothing they have ever created is worth anything.
And the moral equivalency put forth by the OP is just plain dumb.

It's morally okay as long as you are cool with someone stealing from your company whenever they feel like it.

You just don't understand.

I don't know. Is this anotther movie filled with Jews making dick jokes like the past few Seth rogen movies?

I saw it for free. I wasn't gonna gonna pay for that publicity stunt.

Since Sony's execs said they will consult Al Sharpton going forward for their movies, I will never pay a dime for another Sony movie again. I might watch the Interview but I refuse to pay for it. Screw those guys for kowtowing to the great race-baiter.
