Red River Brewing Co. The facts

Red River Brewing Company will be based out of Shreveport, LA as a production brewery. Initially it will not have a tap room nor will it be a brew pub.
It is being started by friends of mine. They are currently waiting on their federal license but have secured the zoning and as soon as the Feds complete the permitting and other red tape is cut through they will begin setup.
They will be brewing off of a 5 barrel system.

It is under construction and should be up and running soon.
I talked with one of them the today and he said they should be releasing product by July 2013. It is a very long process to get one of these off the ground. I will be happy to answer questions that come up if I can and if I don't know the answer I will get it from one of the guys. One of the owners is joining this site so he'll be around soon to answer questions also.

they have meet with one distributor already and will be meeting with another next week.

Might want to change the CO to Co. Seems like they could be from Colorado.

good luck to them. I lived in shreveport for six years and went to college there....would be great for a couple of great craft brewereies to get off the ground there
