Does James Wright run his routes on his knees?

It seems like every catch he makes is with his knees down. He has had some 3rd down conversions on his knees the past couple of games.

id rather that than a guy try to run with the ball before its caught, resulting in a drop

The ball is being thrown low, so he goes low to secure the catch imo

Sometimes putting the ball low is where it is the most difficult for the defender to make a play on the ball. I don't care if he catches the ball with a butterfly net so long as he catches it.

Midsection is not low. He puts one knee on the ground and catches it around his chest. If he were standing up it would hit him in the low stomach or nuts area. I really don't mind that much especially when it's 3rd and 9 and he ran the route past the first down marker and caught it, but it would be nice to attempt a run after the catch.

Better than OBJ going airborne on every pass to him and then dropping it.

Maybe if Mett there a better pass, he wouldn't have to go to his knees to catch it.
