Sounds awesome. Dynamically overclocks itself. Dynamically turns VSync on and off as needed.

NVIDIA now claims it has "the fastest GPU in the world", with both lower power consumption and a 10-40 percent performance advantage over AMD's single-GPU rival, the Radeon HD 7970, at 1920 x 1080.

If I could figure out how to open my computer case I would install that myself..

If you can't figure out how to open the case, you probably shouldn't be installing video cards, ever.

well to be honest I haven't tried...I just don't feel like figuring out which screw driver to use
I know how the components are installed I just don't like my casing...it has weird screws

Pretty pricey, but cheaper than the 7970 if $500 is accurate. Don't think there is a game out there that demands this kind of card though....but if you have $500 and can't think of anything else to blow it on, might as well. Should be set for years to come.

I am getting ready to build a new PC as soon as Ivy bridge comes out at the end of April. I will be going with an i7 3770k and one of these GTX-680's

Build two and give one to me.

This makes my penis hard but I'm poor.

AMD CPUs > Microsoft CPUs > Apple CPUs > Intel CPUs > Google CPUs.
intel graphics > ATI graphics > Nvidia graphics.
Also I would recommend getting a SSD computer. It'll be faster, smaller, and use less memory.

You have no clue what you're talking about do you. (not a question, btw)

And even then, Intel > AMD, so that statement was all kinds of fricked up. Had to be trolling

If he thinks Microsoft makes a processor then I wasn't going to even begin trying to explain that to him

Well, during GDC 2012, the company showed one GeForce GTX 680 card running a stunning demo of the game Samaritan that just a year ago demanded three GTX 580 cards just to play. With three times as many CUDA cores as the Fermi-based GTX 580 but greater efficiency due to the 28nm process, the Kepler hurtled through the demo with almost a quarter of the power and heat radiation.

I spoke with my friend, who works at Intel, about their major competitors and he mentioned how Intel is playing catch up with Microsoft.
Also Intel graphics are currently too of the line. While your post shows the cuda cores of Nvidia being large, I guarantee you intl has a lot more. Also, I think Intel can do it much larger than 28 m.
