Someone said that is what happened to Bo Jackson. Blood flow was cut off to Jackson's hip and he had to have a hip replacement.

Yeah, Bo's hip was pulled straight back out of the socket and cut off the blood flow.

Mosley had a rough year. He dislocated his elbow too this year, I think?

Bo Jackson did have a dislocated hip but that is not what ended his career.. When his hip dislocated it popped back into place but a tiny bit of cartilage torn off. That piece of cartilage ended up in his hip socket and caused the bone it was laying on to begin to die around it. That's why he had to have his hip replaced.
