I got in a huge fight with my parents during the game

So during the 4th quarter interception at the 1 yard line I scream out "YES WE GOT IT!" and jump up and down.
My parents (both LSU alum) look at me like I'm crazy, and my dad says "QUIET DOWN!" and he and my mom go in their bedroom to watch the rest of the game.
I am left to watch the end of regulation and OT by myself in their living room and I honestly left as the officials were deciding what to do on Ware's run to the 7 (or was it a TD?).
I ultimately heard in my car that we won 9-6 in OT as I was pulling out of their driveway.
Here is the text that I sent my mom (still unreturned) "I love you as parents but I am really stunned and puzzled at your reaction to my celebration of our season-saving INT. We are LSU alumni!"
Anybody with thoughts? Should I just let this go? I love my parents - I'm 33 and they're both in their 70's. It should have been a magical night but somehow - insanely - despite LSU winning and me winning big money on the outcome - I feel like shite.

Let it go, old people don't get as excited. My dad's in his 50's and he was raisin hell with me all night during the game. In 20 years I guarantee he won't get as excited or loud lol.

Maybe you startled them. I wouldn't say another word about it. Or worry about it one second.

Just let it go...act like nothing happened...

I'm in the process of getting my own place - I'm visiting them 3 hours away from where I just moved. And I'm down about feeling sad on what should be a top 5 night of the year for me. It sucks.

If you don't score tonight it's your own fault; not your parents.

Be very thankful you have them both. I would let it go. Nothing good can come of this situation. Now is the time to show them the type of person they raised. Good luck

If you are single, why aren't you banging some trim instead of 1) being worried about your parents and 2) posting this really douchey message?
