You need one of those Orcas with the backpack straps. Also has a much better designed "lid" that unzips so you can fold the whole top back. its a better mousetrap.

Do you go to the beach by yourself? Someone is usually with me to help me carry a buggy or ice chest down the steps.

People are dumb. They will by whatever is trending because its cool. They will pay whatever it takes to be cool.

And at the end of the day, the majority of your ice is melted. How is that better than any other ice chest?

You yeti fanboys are about as bad as the apple fanboys.

What's easier to carry?

A ice chest with modified wheels or a normal ice chest in a buggy with the rest of your items.

Yeah, those are comparable. Why are you carrying something with wheels. Wheels in the sand? Holy shite.

Dear yeti? What in the actual frick?

I have no idea if it's overrated because I see/hear little discussion of the bags. Mine holds ice very, very well.

How are they not comparable? They both provide ways to get your drinks to the beach. Obviously I'm not carrying anything with wheels, unless I need to get it down the steps. Yes, wheels in the sand. Large wheels.

So at the end of the day on the beach all of your ice wont be melted?

Carry was a key word.

Yes.

I do. I was bitching about the zipper. How is it dear to me? You are making assumptions that are unwarranted and judging people because of a product that you harbor some irrational hate for.

The hoppers are the shite. The best yeti product other than the tumblers. They are absolutely perfect for the beach. They definitely hold ice for a few days and can hold a ton for their size. Also very comfortable to carry on your shoulder if you put the strap across onto the opposite shoulder from the side it is hanging on. I know all of this from using my BILs at the beach for a week. I have 45 hard chest and would trade it in a heartbeat for a 40 hopper or even a 30, that's how much better they are.
