Why not just complain to the manager at the Academy? Get him to stop doing that shite.

with these $500-800 cash upsales, we can all assume they won't be reported on taxes.

very assuming of you. You might as well start reporting every person that cuts grass, cuts hair, and shite like that.

websites regulating this? I don't understand what's legal/illegal so i'm kind of asking here but seems moronic if this is illegal but its legal to sell our guns though

You can buy and sell the occasional gun, or as many as you want I suppose but if he is buying them with the intent to turn around and resell them then he is breaking the law.

Keep gathering evidence and turn his arse in. He's definitely pulling some straw-man shite. It's dipshits like him why the prices on ar's are so damn outrageous right now. If a few people like him were to start getting busted for the shite then maybe a bunch more of them would stop doing it too.

The ATF cracked down on a few guys on Bayoushooter that were doing more private sales than they thought they should have been doing without a license. BS had to put out some new rules and warnings concerning it.

So you can sell a gun to make money but you can't sell the gun with the intent to make money? Sounds fricking moronic.

You can do it all you want if you get a FFL.

I'm just trying to figure out how they are making the distinction here between legal and illegal. Seems like a big cloud of grey.

I don't make the rules. The Feds do and they don't usually play around when they finally decide they are mad at you.

There certainly is some gray in there but what he is doing is not gray. It is illegal to buy that many with the strict intent to turn around and resell them without a license.

The difference here is this guys motive is to acquire and flip these guns for profit. If he's not an FFL then it's highly illegal.

Texted him this:
quote:

By the way, are you an FFL? I saw one of your other postings and missed it. Was wondering what transferring was like on these guns. I've never bought private before, only from H&H.

His reply:
quote:

Not an FFL. You don't need to be for a private sale. However you can do a bill of sale if that makes both parties feel more comfortable but that is by choice.

Nope, not an FFL

And the plot thickens...
