Been sitting in a lock on since before daylight. A few minutes ago something gets my attention and i look over and its fawn running down a trail right by my stand. I grab my bow thinking theres a coyote chasing it, i had already saw one this morning, but its a dog. Its obvious hes been running this fawn, he was panting pretty good. As it ran by i whislted at it and got it to stop way on past me, he made a circle back the way he came. So, the fawn made it that time. Kind of pisses me off that this fawn has enough shite trying to eat it without someones dog trying to. Im not interested in killing someones dog but i really wished harm on that one. What the OB bowhunters have done?

Kill it. 100% it's the owners job to keep it off your property. Especially if it's going after native wildlife then it's got to die. If the dog has done this before it will keep doing it and run native wildlife off. If I knew the person whose dog it was and knew the dog then I probably would just go talk to them first. If it's a stray or you have no clue whose it is then bam.

The dog is just acting like a dog. If it didn't have a collar I would plug him. It's the owners fault he is out...try to find who owns it and give them a shot at fixing the situation.

I don't like most dog hunters but im not gonna blame the dog. shooting hunting dogs because they are hunting is even trashier.
