I sometimes pull a maxed out double 3500 lb axle utility trailer with my 1000XP (slowly, in low). Will I burn a belt one day? Maybe, but I have a good belt and a secondary clutch mudder spring.

Every halloween I pull a car hauler with about 20 chairs, half dozen ice chests, two fire pits, usually a bbq and a goofy amount of adults and kids jumping off

Easily 9k lbs.

The key is driving just fast enough in low that the belt is locked up no slipping. Once you hit 4 mph on the xp, you usually have it fully engaged. No belt wear at that point.

I have never changed a belt on any 4wheeler or sxs I personally run. Even going to truck tires and reaply high mileage. Just run at least a certain speed.for low and for high.

Went with the Pioneer!

I hope you are able to avoid the DCT transmission problems I had. Enjoy the little tiny back seats that over time get coated in moldy corn and dried up deer blood.

Service it often and keep it clean and it will probably be fine. When mine acts up, I turn it off and let it sit and cool down, drink 2 beers, and then crank it back up and that usually works.
