Don’t know what you paid for the outfit you went to. But for $550/650 per hunter per day Bent Creek Lodge in Jachin, AL is hard to beat. Beautiful land. Great accommodations. Food is good. Owners Leo/Johnny were really nice when I went there as a kid (30 yrs ago).

If you want a guaranteed kill and want to spend a lot definitely do a high fence place like some have suggested.
I recommend talking to people you know who hunt to see if they’re willing to bring you. Just offer to pay for whatever. You’ll end up paying alot less than a high fence place.

Yeah I’ve been way too busy this year to hunt like a normally would and just looking to at least snag a meat hunt. May end up looking in Texas.

Management buck hunt is as close to a guarantee that you can get for a free range place. The doe hunts are best the 1st 2 weekends of the season.
