I think all of the new owners are buying it up, causing shortages, high prices, and manufacturers having no interest in making anything else. You can get range rounds and self defense rounds of the ones you mentioned, if you are willing to pay the high prices.

My local Walmart (Jane, MO), had 308, 6.5 and 30-06 in stock.

Just left Simmons in Bastrop. They had 6.5 Creedmore and Grendel, .35 Whelen, .308 and many other calibers. No 7mm08 and 3-4 people came to the counter and asked in the ten minutes I was there.

Plenty of steel and non-toxic shot. 2 case limit.

Probably should have bought another box of 6.5 Grendel but ???????
