Duck is my favorite as far as enjoyment of the hunt, but I'll always hunt the rut along the river to get that massive 10 point or better that has escaped me time and time again. When i finally get big bow with my bow, it will be my best moment in hunting.

1. the seduction - calling them in for the kill.
2.Working the dogs, this #1 if you have a good dog.
3.The beauty - sunrise on a ricefield or flooded woods, sun glinting off a pintail's wings, the sound of a group of teal swooping into the decoys - these are things you never forget.
4. The camraderie - some of the best tall tails I've ever heard were in a duck blind.
5. The smell of duck blood and coffee.
