When I went to basic, it ended right at Christmas time but I had to report back for AIT right after Christmas. I was never so happy to see the holidays that year.

same thing happened to me but I was in OSUT so when we came back it was straight into bootcamp mode again. At the time I was never so happy to be home but going back I don't think I was ever more miserable either
