Yeah, well I can debone one, Vac seal it and freeze before getting out of the tree stand!

If you don't debone you can separate the ball and socket joint in the hind quarters. There is a good chunk of just bone you will throw away which will save some space.

I have been doing this for 10 years hunting in South Texas and traveling to Louisiana with the meat.

Yes I do this when I am cleaning the deer. Don't need a saw at any point, just a sharp knife and cut around the pelvis.
