$900 is way too low.

$1050 is a bit low.

I'd let it go for $1100 though.

Then keep it. You are already defending the price and getting offended by people being honest. I would rather go buy one new if I am only paying a hundred to two hundred dollar difference. I myself have a fair amount of shotguns and shoot them on a more than regular basis and can tell you that most of the people I know would rather the super vinci. Just keep the gun and give it to someone as a gift for some major brownie points instead of trying to scalp something that you won in the first place.
