They aren't aggressive at all. They will stand their ground, like most snakes if they are cornered, but they are opportunity predators....Not aggressive.

This one was in the bushes, slithering around like he was plotting on us. He was around 4.5 - 5' long. I actually thought he was bigger than that. If I knew what he was, and that they're not aggressive, I probably would've scared him toward the pond. He was a beautiful snake.
