If wasp is still on nest, it was not sprayed.

I have a nest in my shed that I sprayed about a month ago and there are still about 8 dead wasps on it.

I have never seen it happen, and can't even understand how it could.

Had that happen at our office. They stayed on the nest until a storm knocked them off. I can't find anymore of that spray.

The nest pictured in the OP was originally seen a month ago. The day before the pictures were taken was a 3" down pour.

I use carb and choke cleaner spray. Kills em dead just as soon as it hits em. Sometimes they fall off, sometimes they don't. But they're all...dead.

The long distance sprays never leave a wasp on the nest. It shuts them down and there is no way for them to cling.

I'm not suggesting that is what happened, just adding that I have seen a nest sprayed and the wasp never moved, just died on the spot.

Good, because you would be wrong. It's the zombie fungus.
