Use them all the time on spinnerbaits for a quick color change. Always thought they'd mess up the action on a crankbait..

They come in different sizes. Yeah, my thing was I'd be worried about it putting too much crap around the lure. If I'm not using a leader, it's not an issue, but it seems it would be easier to use changing lures quickly on a leader. I thought about making a bunch of leaders with different baits but I don't have an efficient way of storing my leaders and too many would just be a PITA. These are the ones I got the other day. I'm kind of an impulse bait/tackle buyer. They're pretty small.

Sloopy, I'm hitting Reggio this Saturday morning.

I picked some up a few weeks ago to try them out. They work great for switching out topwaters.
They don't work well when used with a popping cork. . . the line below the cork will get caught in the clip.

The ones I have came from BassPro and are made for fly fishing and weren't meant for saltwater fishing, so they won't last.

I also use these below my corks which allows me to change the length of my leader.

I bought those "quick clips" one time.
Never a fukingain will i buy them

Quick my arse. If you have any moisture on your finger tips, there is no way you can get that on a bait..
I spent more time cussing with those than anything

We use them at times with small crankbaits to give the bait a little more action. Mostly light tackle stuff

I'm thinking of the grief I'd get by bringing those on the boat. I just bring 3-4 rod set ups.

I like this style, but I really only use them to attach weights to three way swivels.

I challenge you to show me one fisherman who isn't.
