That’s buying a gun a week for 20 years

If he has that many he probably bought some collections. I know a couple of collectors who buy estate sales, anywhere from a few dozen to a few hundred at a time. I do not have that kind of money.

I have enough that I’d have think real hard to list them all but it’s less than a hundred.

"lots of guns" means more guns than I have, no matter how many I have

25 is a good solid, reasonable number.

I have enough, but If I could afford it I would have what some would consider too many.

I'll answer this with a story:

I was at an annual business summit my company puts on for employees and chatting with a buddy of mine from South, who knows I was born/raised Southern. We're chit chatting about guns in general and there's a Canadian employee 3rd wheeling with us over a beer at the evening dinner.

After the discussion goes on for a while Canuck jumps in with "jeez how many guns do you guys have!?"

Almost in unison me and the buddy say "if you know how many you've got, you don't have enough"

Canuck looks horrified and say "that is SUCH an American thing to say!"

again in unison we fire back "what's your fricking point?"
