Getting a new 4 wheeler soon for the deer lease and some mud riding. What accessories do you guys recommend?

Winch? Is synthetic rope better? What are the top brands?

Tires?

Gun holder?

Anything else?

A turret to mount a 50 cal.

Or at least an onboard holster for a judge.

Build yourself an audio tube for when you're mud riding.

Boot style only goes up to a 50mm scope, I have a 56mm scope.

I dont think you need a Warn winch on a fricking atv.
I've always used the lesser expensive $100 models and have been fine. For the price of the Warn you can but 3 other winches. They will all go out at some point, although my latest one has been on for 6 yrs with no problems.

I prefer the Mud Lite tires to the 589's, they do the same job and don't destroy the turf as bad when using it around the home.

Me either unless you'll be using it a whole bunch. For occasional use the cheaper brands are fine.

I personally like my fourwheeler 100% stock. It's pretty awesome to have a 1995 fourwheeler that has had about $300 of maintenance required in it's lifetime

Anyways

What kinda bike are you getting? If you know what make/model you're buying some people here could point you to some specific stuff.

Also, when you say "mud riding" what do you mean?

This?

Or this?

I dunno if I would cheap out on the winch. I have burned up, I think, 4 of them. One burned up after the first use.

Get a good one and some mud tires and have fun

Honda Rancher 420 is what I'm leaning towards getting.

420 rancher is an awesome bike. You can fit 27 inch tires on it without lifting, but they are more nimble at 26. I own one and it is quality. Synthetic is safer to deal with(snapping or cutting your hands) than cable. It's lighter and stronger too. First thing you NEED, is stick stoppers and a ball. Don't leave the lot without them. Next would be rims/tires, then a 1500-2000 lb SEALED winch. Followed by nice front and rear extended racks. Also la guard dog or kolpin makes awesome strapless tie down systems for 125-150. Saves time and gas. They make swivel
Mounts for anything from beer holders to pistol holders, gps, etc, but those are not necessary.
Oh and spend the extra 3-5 hundo on power steering and thank me later.
