Went to pattern a new choke, Kent shells throwing wad through target at 40 yards

This is the old kent fasteel in 4 shot, it was throwing the wad through target at 40 yards with both the stock IC choke and new Carlson's MR choke.

What is going on with this? I know for sure it wasn't allowing the bb's to fan out which was throwing off pattern. All the other shells did fine.

Patternmaster choke tubes are supposed to hold the wad back to allow full separation if you are really wanting to use those shells, otherwise just use the shells that shot good with that choke, sometimes chokes shells and guns just don’t match

I get a much better pattern with estate than Kent.
Different shotguns like different shells
