Went to lake Mary today. Not sure how many are familiar with it but it is supposedly a top notch white perch spot. Water was around 52 to 54 degrees. Talked to several "know alls" and although no bites, they felt its any day now. Figured some of you white-Sac-a-crappie fishermen might be interested. Compared to last year it may be a few weeks later

Yea that's the draw back to lake mary and foster lake, constantly flooding.

Been going there since I could run a boat or drink. Its a pita for sure. Fished all the spots today, culverts on the road seem to be at the right water level. Water is just to cold. Fish aren't feeding yet

When the water is up its hard to find a better place to bow fish. Top notch red neck yacht club in the back of the chutes. "If you drink em, sink em"

When I hunted in Fort Adams we had a 2 or 3 acre lake on our lease that flooded every year with the MS River rising, and it was chock full of white sac 'craps. We used to slaughter them there. Never had a reason to fish Lake Mary or Foster's Lake even though it was close.

I want to get back into that club just for that pond.

Thanks, yes now I remember. I was just talking with my uncle about heading there soon just a couple days ago. He's 80 years old and still chasing Sac a lait.

Outfront

Was a badass club when I was in it, but I think we got out when I was 12 before I could deer hunt seriously.

I think its full of hogs now. Never had them when I hunted there.
