Went and shot guns for the first time today

Yea I know wtf huh?
Friend called me today to go meet him at the range because he had just got his new ar-15 and wanted to go shoot it. He also brought his 9mm Glock to shoot also. Man I have a new found respect for those people you see on tv hitting bulls eye after bulls eye. We put a target up about 25 feet away which was 12 inches x 12 inches and i only hit it one time. My friend pointed out how I was kinda slapping the trigger instead of squeezing it. The next clip I hit the target 8 out of 15 times.
We then moved to the rifle range to shoot the ar-15. We only had 2 clips to shoot because 3 of the clips were armor penetration ammo so I only shot it 20 times or so. I gotta admit shooting that gun was badass and loud as hell. This was my last 5 shots on the gun at 25 yards away. He said it wasnt bad at all considering today was the first time ever shooting a rifle.

yea thats what my friend was saying. he says he is addicted. i think he said he is currently building an ar-15

Rule of thumb: The clip loads the magazine, the magazine loads the gun
