Weddings during hunting season

Had a very close friend announce their engagement and schedule their wedding for middle of prime rut.

Then he asked me to be his best man.

I replied dude when yall announced the date I just assumed you didn't want me to be there....which i wont be.

He knows the deal... lol.... we ate still very close great friends of course. I think he had to ask two or three other guys before he found one that could make it during deer season. He begged his wife to change the date so his friends could come.... we all know how that went.

I have two kids. Their birth days are planned around hunting season too. One born in April the other June. My wife's birthday is July. I planned that too....

I understand outlawing weddings during football season, but during hunting season seems like a little bit of a stretch…
