What's the story over here? I know water got really high recently and wanting to go fishing this weekend but can't decide where to go.

Suggestions, fishing reports, and water level reports for the bend are appreciated, for this is always my, first in line, place to go.

172.4, so slightly high. Fish are shallow. Hay grass seems to be the ticket.

Check out this thread LINK

Most people, including myself have been catching everything shallow. The water is a little high, and like Alx said, hay grass and also buck brush have been good. Don't be scared to go down a cypress bank either.

I'm assuming this is on the spillway end. What is the level like on the northern end?

Got back 3 hrs ago. Been there since Saturday . Fishing is way off right now. Water slightly high and stained mid lake but clearing up daily. We found good water and had great conditions and couldn't catch more than 10 chunks a day. I've fished it for years and for it to go from great to shitty so quickly is mind boggling . The pressure is like I've never seen. There's not a stretch of bank anywhere that doesn't get fished multiple times a day. I can't wait till they go back out deep . Good Luck

This is what led me to go offshore 365 on that lake.
