comments on that article are hilarious and coming in quick. Already close to 1500 comments and climbing on there. I will be on edge awaiting the dictator's planned course of action.

I said it three days after SHTF and I'll say it again, don't overpay for an AR right now.
However if he does anything to imported parts kits and rifles you can expect AK's to skyrocket

I wouldn't get too worked up over it. The headline is doing it's job, getting people fired up. The actual article explains that the POTUS has very limited power via EO and can really only order the DOJ to enforce existing laws and tighten imports.
An "assault" weapon ban MUST go through both bodies of congress, and the article quotes even a dem saying it has a snowball's chance in hell of passing.
boom

Still a pretty big deal and worth out concern if he EOs import bans. If ammo prices never come back down its pretty much a back door ban on recreational use of ARs, at least.

Dang. We might get overrun by coyotes and prairie dogs.
Posted on 1/15/13 at 2:08 pm to AlxTgr
I have blasted many a prairie dog with my AR.

This is gonna hurt the prairie dog outfitters. We took over 1000 rds each when we went out there.
If the sports can't he ammo, they won't be selling many hunts.

It would take a 2/3 majority of congress to reverse such an act (not gonna happen).
Refresh my memory, but isn't that what happened with the Streetsweepers?
