I received a call from the St Charles Parish DA today to confirm my address and other personal data. Apparently one of the "alleged" boat thieves has pled guilty, but the other is going to fight it and so I will be subpoenaed. I don't know what I can offer as far as evidence but I was asked to gather all invoices and receipts from the repairs related to the theft and damage to hopefully be reimbursed.
Court is currently scheduled for September 13th.

I sure hope the dude who pled guilty takes the stand to testify against that no-good boat stealing MF'er.
Judge needs to sentence his arse to the fullest extent of the law

I'll keep that in mind. The wife was upset that we couldn't boat ride for about a month waiting for it to be fixed. Plus a day of work missed for me going to pick it up.
