Great story OP, had she lost a lot of weight? Or you think someone else had her and was feeding her?
I wish my Golden was timid, damn dog is the friendliest dog I’ve ever seen. We take her to a dog park and she runs up and sits in the middle of all the humans legs trying to get pet, cares more to do that then play with other dogs.

Yes, I believe the fireworks scared her initially. But she was inside the camp and has been around them before and not freaked out. She has lost some weight, but otherwise seems fine.
