This has been discussed many times on here. While I dont agree with a lot of what DU does they are still the leader in breeding habitat conservation. Which means more ducks being hatched which means more ducks coming south. If you really want to get pissed about something do some research and find out why those ducks are staying put. It is bc of unharvested crop fields supported by gov subsidies combined with large operations keeping habitat available for waterfowl during freezes. IE keeping ice eaters going in a handful of crop fields to keep the bird in place until the heavy freeze passes. You really want to get pissed look at MO and ARK rice farmers and how they have been raping the taxpayers to keep planting a uneconomical crop that allows them to keep waterfowl in the area and in turn charge premium prices for leases and blinds.
