you have a problem with predator control? That seems rather counter intuitive in helping the turkey population.

I've hunted pretty much everything in our swamps, marshes and woods for decades. I'm relatively new to turkey hunting, but I'm now obsessed with it and losing interest in all that other stuff. My opportunities are limited as I'm not in a deer lease. What's the best way to go about finding a lease or property to hunt? I'm in the SELA area, but don't mind driving a few hours.

Join a deer lease that has turkeys.

As far as turkeys and lease, Utica, Crystal Springs, Copiah county are good areas. Openings are rare though.
