I just put in for the quota hunt and was wondering if any of y'all ever hunted LBL?

I’ve passed through there on several deer hunts out of Paducah. Gorgeous landscape. I know the area is full of deer and turkey, but can’t add anything on the actual LBL area.

Me and a buddy hunted area 10 right around the Tenn/KY line for deer last year. We saw a lot of deer and he killed a nice 9pt. Would be interested to hear about the turkey as well. Beautiful country for sure.

Yes, out of Cadiz. Killed birds for years. Awesome stuff. Be ready to hunt during the middle of the day when most guys are back at camp eating and sleeping.

I don't have anything to add with regards to LBL, but I had a dream last night that I was turkey hunting. I woke up so pumped that it's just right around the corner

Hunted the Tennessee side a couple times. Pretty woods and a lot of fields, not a lot of gobbling, and people everywhere. But it was several weeks after the season was open, the timing with the quota hunt may be better.

The first morning I ever hunted there was probably the best but I was mostly in the blind and never could get where I should have been. Another year I think I called up 10-12 jakes in 3 days. A big block of good woods was also closed for a burn on one of my trips.

I’ll probably go back when I can get away from work long enough to spend a week or so there without it impacting my Missouri trip.
